One fine Monday morning, as I routinely scroll through my emails, I come across one that stands out. Ayada #Maldives wants to collaborate?! Umm YES! That has been one of my dream destinations. With its clear blue waters and luxurious villas, I could not turn them down.
After a 20+ hour flight and layover, I arrive to one of the Maldives' international airports. Depending on your destination island, you must either take a boat or small plane. As soon as I arrive to #Ayada, I am greeted with smiling faces, lively music, and colorful flower leis. Unfortunately, I got caught up in the moment and forgot to record the experience-- I have to get better at this! I was then escorted to my villa and it was stunning to say the least!
After a long flight it was nice to unwind and relax so I spent the entire first day lounging around and ended the night with a yummy buffet dinner.
The next morning when I woke up I had a friendly visitor right below my water villa and some amazing breakfast in bed... or should I say breakfast in pool. My favorite part of sleeping on the water was being able to LIVE in my bikinis. To end the day I brought out a beautiful red dress from #Bebe, who I was proudly working with at the time.
On the third day I woke up with the sun to take some photos for Ayada Maldives. There isn't much to do at night except maybe early dinner and drinks so waking up to watch the sunrise is no problem at all. And definitely a sight to see!
I spent the rest of the day swimming in the pool, hitting the gym for a nice leg workout and riding bike around the island.
On the last day I did an excursion and some snorkeling. As usual, I was too caught up in the moment to take photos so here are some from the room afterwards. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maldives was absolutely stunning! With its unmatched views, transparent waters and impeccable customer service, it was one of my favorite travel destinations. I personally think 4 the four days I spent were enough as Ayada is a small island and activities are limited.
Since I was already on the other side of the world, I wanted to take advantage and visit the neighboring island of Sri Lanka. Check it out!
