Maldives

One fine Monday morning, as I routinely scroll through my emails, I come across one that stands out just a bit more than the rest. #AyadaMaldives wants to collaborate?! Umm YES! That has been one of my dream destinations. With its clear blue waters and luxurious villas, I could not turn them down.

After a 20+ hour flight and layover, I arrive to one of the Maldives' international airports. Then depending on which of the #Maldives islands you are traveling to, you take a boat or small plane to your final destination. As soon as I arrive to Ayada, I am greeted with smiling faces, lively music, and colorful flower leis. I was then taken to my villa where I spent my entire first day lounging, swimming and eating.

The next morning, I woke up to sting rays right below my #OverwaterBungalow, along with some delicious breakfast in bed... or should I say, breakfast in pool.

Whether rowing on the #ClearBottomKayak, swinging on the beach, or lounging by the pool, my favorite part was being in a bikini 24/7. The resort is pretty exclusive so you only see other people sparingly. Its the ultimate relaxing getaway.

On the third day I woke up with the sun to take some photos for the resort. At night all there is to do is dinner and drinks so you tend to go to bed early. Hence waking up with the sun is no problem. And definitely a sight to see!

The rest of our days were spent biking, snorkeling, kayaking, exercising, eating yummy food and relaxing.

Maldives was absolutely stunning! With its unmatched views, transparent waters and impeccable customer service, it was one of my favorite travel destinations. I personally think the four days I spent were enough. It is a small island so activities are limited but it is the ultimate destination to escape and unwind.

And Since I was already on the other side of the world, I wanted to take advantage and visit the neighboring island of Sri Lanka. Check it out on my other blog post!
